Day 25: A friend you have lost that you’re better off without/one you wish you had back.
As far as I can remember, I have never lost a friend because of misunderstandings, etc. except death.
This friend was my classmate since second grade until sixth grade. Some classmates need to part ways because most are transferring to another school while some are migrating to other countries. She transferred to another school when we were entering high school. And during the mid quarters of first year high school, we heard the news that she already passed away. At first I thought it was all a joke because she was a very jolly girl. When we were still seatmates back then, I can remember that she was a girl full of jokes, always smiles, very good in art, a true friend. I would never thought a girl like her will be suffering from leukemia. That was when I realized why she was so skinny and pale. I had no regrets that she's been a classmate and specially, my friend. Of course I wish sometimes that I can be with her again- spent those times playing with her, coloring our nails with colored liquid eraser, and just be a child again. Well, maybe God does not want her to suffer anymore pains that is why He took her breath before getting too sick. Memories of her will always remain with me.
