When I used to look above,
all I saw was sky;
and every song,
that I would sing,
I sung not knowing
why.
All I thought and all I felt,
Was only just
because,
Never was it ever
you –
Until it was all
there was.

One of the poems I can mostly relate to, at this moment, by my favorite modern poet, Lang Leav.
I had not heard of that poet; very nice poem. So short and simple but compelling in its message. Just visiting from A/Z; hope you continue on with the challenge :)

That's a lovely poem, rather haunting.
ReplyDeleteI really like this one! New follower here. I'm stopping by from the "A to Z" challenge, and I look forward to visiting again!
