We were created perfectly:
Men with thoughts that are true and pure.
We were with God in harmony:
Endowed of powers rich in nature.
But disobedience caused us to fail,
Then sin corrupted our hearts.
In our walk, we were led astray,
And have been held captive by the enemy’s arts.
Yet there was One who was willing
To suffer death at the hands of the evil;
He rose as again as a conqueror
Over the grave that holds no future at all.
He who gave His life for me,
Has set me free from this bondage of sin.
I am now more than a conqueror
For Christ my Saviour made it victorious for me!
